To do List: 7. Draw strength from the good around me.

Been thinking about the weekend that just passed and I was thinking how life is amazing and frustrating and beautiful and overwhelming but so so so precious!

I met some people, a family who quickly connected to my heart. People who I have never met before, but walk ahead of me in the journey that we have undertaken. People who I can look to, to draw strength.  I can’t find the words to express the joy I felt to see the kids connect and the love of family so beautifully knitted.

The realisation that you are not alone, You are not the only person/couple/ family experiencing the ebb and flow of life and time. We all are, in different intensities.

Some are better at camouflaging than others.

Some are more thankful than others.

Some feel the need to hide behind a facade.

Some are letting the journey pass through them, whilst experiencing all it’s bumps, jolts and highs in full force. They say, ” Bring it on. I am here and I am ready, though I may be weary at times, I will never stand down from the beauty of this life.”

Those are people I want to hold and look up to.

No matter what you are going through, there is always light at the end of the tunnel, help if you ask and strength from unlikely places.
